I was born in 1982 in Kędzierzyn-Koźle. In 2007 I graduated biology on Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń – during studies I was chairman of Microbiology Section of Biology Students Scientific Group and I went on summer practice in microbiology laboratory of Salford University, Manchester. Since July 2009 I work in Plant Breeding and Acclimatization Institute.
In LIDER program I’m investigating for Rpi-phu1 gene homologs in wild potato species.
My research interests are:
Phytophthora infestans in Poland – population structure and its variability
Interaction between P. infestans and its host plant
P. infestans viruses
My passion is homebrewing

I have graduated biotechnology from University of Agriculture in Cracow.
I have spent one semester at Universität für Bodenkultur in Vienna under the Erasmus programme. I have also pursued a traineeship at Norsk institutt for skog og landskap in As, Norway. Since March 2012 I work at Plant Breeding and Acclimatization Institute.
My main task is to profile a Rpi-phu1 gene expression associated with resistance to Phytophthora infestans.
I am interested in music and travels.
